Applying for a job: Difference between resume and CV?

Hello! I’m currently a Master’s student in Japan and I’m thinking of applying for a job at Kojima Productions, but they mentioned that I need to submit both a CV and a Resume on their English-language careers website. As someone who comes from a country where CV and Resume basically refer to the same thing, what is the difference in Japan? Is a resume the traditional Japanese 履歴書? Is a CV basically what I have now (education, introduction paragraph, projects, previous work history, certifications)?
