Looking for new job from overseas sales – what’s my first step?

So I work for a medical company in overseas sales. I do translations but mainly just talk to all of our overseas clients…my job is just talking.

I want to find a new job that’s similar but more challenging and hopefully better pay.

LinkedIn, agencies, recruiters, agents, there are SO many options so I’m just a bit confused what my first steps should be???

I speak Japanese so I guess just as Japanese would do I need to hire an agent, update my LinkedIn then just start making accounts on all these sites and start applying?

Any advice would be great – thank you 🙏
