My wife’s Grandmother, living in Gunma, is having an issue with her water heater, an eco-cute. Hitachi Housetec HHP-T371HAT. The prices that I’m finding to replace it are around the 400,000 to 500,000 yen range, which is obviously not cheap.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a gas water heater installed instead? Similar cost? Or is there another solution we could look into before she bites the bullet on the replacement cost?
