When doing a change of address notification what happens if i don’t register with the new municipal within 14 days?
I am on a working holiday visa here in Japan and will be moving out of my current house at the end of the month. I will be moving into a new place, however that won’t be until the start of June and in the mean time i was planning to travel around Japan during the 1 Month long gap. However due to this i won’t be in the new municiapl until the start of June by which the 14 day period will have elapsed even if theoretically said i was moving out my municipal 14 days later after i actually left.
Due to this i was wondering if there was any major issues with registering after 14 days.
