Itinerary!
We are a family of 4 from Melbourne, Australia travelling to Japan for 3 weeks. Mum and Dad have been to Tokyo before for 6 days (sans kids) but that’s it. We love food, hiking and fitness, sports, shopping, arts and more food. Children ages are: 14 year old boy (Black belt karate and likes baseball) 7 year old girl (loves Pokemon and basketball) Our schedule is fairly loose so far, but I’ve booked all the accommodation and are starting to book in activities. Let me know if there’s something I’ve missed or you have a great suggestion as a family.

A few gaps here and there. We need to gauge the kids and their energy levels to some extent but it’s also nice to just have some spontaneity. I need to do a fair bit more research on areas of interest. I see us doing a fair bit of exploring in both Tokyo and Kyoto, just trying to immerse ourselves eating, shopping and sightseeing.Happy for some input so let me know your experiences if you can relate! Thanks and happy travelling!
