I fear this. The increasing number of tourists from the US who arrive here and seem to think tipping is rewarding the normal levels of service we have. How someone spends thousands of dollars on a trip (sometimes a trip of a lifetime) and somehow misses tipping is not done here is beyond me.
I can see tipping slowly but surely creeping into businesses here because of this.
