Hello! I’m traveling to Japan with my wife, its our first time. Please let me know what you think of our itinerary of 17 days
Staying in Tokyo (Day 1 – Day 9)
Staying in Kyoto (Day 10 – Day 17)
Day 1:

\- Arrive at Tokyo

\- Chill around hotel

Day 2: Tokyo

\- Senso Ji Tepmple

\- Visit Akihabara

\- Visit Ikebukuro in the afternoon

Day 3: Tokyo

\- Tokyo Disneyland

Day 4: Tokyo

\- Ghibli Museum

\- Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

\- Imperial Palace

\- Imperial Palace East Gardens

\- Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

Day 5: Tokyo

\- Nakano

\- Any suggestions?

Day 6: Tokyo

\- Tsukiji Market

\- Team Lab Planets

\- Team Lab Borderless

\- Shopping in Ginza

Day 7: Tokyo

\- Shibuya Meiji Shrine

\- Hachiko Statue

\- Yoyogi Park

\- Shibuya Sky

\- Shibuya Crossing at night

Day 8: Hakone

\- Day trip to Hakone (Onsen)

Day 9: Tokyo

\- Miraikan Visit

\- Odaiba Marine Park

\- Honda Welcome Plaza

\- DiverCity Tokyo Plaza

\- Pick between any other city I haven’t visited for the evening

Day 10:

\- Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple

\- Lunch at Tsukiji Market

\- Going to Kyoto after lunch.

Day 11: Kyoto

\- Kinkaku-ji

\- Ryoan-ji

\- Nishiki Market

\- Arashiyama to visit the Bamboo Grove and Tenryu-ji Temple.

\-stroll through Gion

Day 12: Kyoto

\- Fushimi Inari Shrine

\- Kyoto International Manga Museum

\- Visit anything I couldn’t visit the previous day

Day 13: Osaka

\- Osaka Castle and park

\- Kitahama Retro Building Area

\- Umeda Sky Building and Floating Garden Observatory

\- Dotonbori

\- Den Den Town

\- Kuromon Market

​

Day 14: Osaka (Universal Studios)

Day 15: Hiroshima

\- Hiroshima trip early in the morning.

Day 16: Nara

\- Day trip to Nara and spend day there.

Day 17: Back to Tokyo through Shinkansen and sadly go back to the US.
I am willing to take any advice from you guys, I know I have a huge mess in this itinerary, but I do have an open mind. Also, let me know if I might be overdoing it in some days.
