I thought of a way I could potentially move a large sum of money from America to Japan without incurring a fee:
What if I converted all USD into a relatively safe asset like $SPY ETF, and then send that to a Japanese bank/brokerage, then liquidate the assets into yen?
Or perhaps buy a safe ADR and do the same process if I can’t do American stocks?
