Isthiss the right way to say “those glasses suit you”?

Is “あなたのメガネに合ってるね” appropriate for work? My corowrker looked at me a little weird when i told them this to complement their new glasses. Is there a better way to say it? I probably mispronounced a part of it but i’m not sure
