This is a stupid question. I’m a dual citizen (US/JP) and have resided and worked in Japan for a few years and pay all JP taxes, but I still file a US tax return every year. When opening a new bank account, I should check the “I am only a Japanese tax resident” box? Is there another box to check off that relates to FBAR?
Didn’t see anything for Sony online account opening.
