I have signed into NHK because they’re so persistent, and so I have been paying for 3 years now. I really don’t use or watch tv so it was totally useless and waste of money.
And now I moved out of my apartment. I have tried calling the number of the salesperson who knocked on my door, and that number is not working anymore. I also tried calling them but it says they’re busy and try calling in another time bla bla bla.
My question is: how can I stop the subscription? Should I just let it be since I moved out, and hope it will stop? Or I really need to call them?
Please help me out. I tried searching but doesn’t really give me anything. Any suggestion/opinion/experience will be a big help.
EDIT***
I don’t have a tv in my new apartment so I really want to stop it. It’s depressing when I’m paying it but then not using it.
UPDATE***
Thank you very much for all the replies.
I called them today and followed your suggestions(I told them I’m moving out the country) and stop my subscription. The person I talked with was really nice and patient, knowing I’m a foreigner.
