I’m currently in Japan and hoping to see a clear view of my Fuji. I just spent a few days in Hakone, but unfortunately it’s been very cloudy and rainy. We woke up quite early but only got little peeks of the view in between heavy cloud cover.
Luckily, I’ve got about a week in Tokyo up next, and plenty of flexibility in my itinerary to make a day trip to kawaguchiko/fuji 5 lakes.
I know it’s impossible to predict 100%, but what sort of weather should I be looking for when picking a day to go? As of now, the forecast for Wednesday looks sunny in kawaguchiko – is that a good time to go? Or is there something else you would recommend looking at for cloud predictions around mt Fuji instead?
