Hello people!
We are planning our honeymoon in Japan for next November-December. It is a dream journey for us for a lot of years now so we are very excited! We are going to spend 3 weeks in Japan, starting from Osaka to Kyoto, then Kiso Valley (Tsumago, Magome and Narai), Hakone and finally Tokyo. We really want to dive into Japanese culture, both traditional and modern, we would love to experience Japan’s history and take a look of how locals live as well.
We would love to have some opinions or recommendations about our Tokyo itinerary so far.
Days are in no particular order.
*Day 1*
**Asakusa** (Senso-ji – Kaminarimon – Nakamise-Dori – Sumida River)
**Ueno** (Ueno Park – Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum(maybe) – Ameyoko Shopping District
**Akihabara**
* *or maybe we could switch some things and go to Asakusa in the evening, so it would be less crowded, seems beautiful both in the morning and in the evening.*
*Day 2*
**Shinjuku** (Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden)
**Harajuku** (Meiji Temple – Takeshite Street – Cat Street – Omotesando)
**Shibuya** (Shibuya Crossing – Pokemon and Nintendo Center – Hachiko statue – Shibuya Sky (sunset)
* *or again maybe switch some things around to end up in Shinjuku in the evening for drinks*
*Day 3*
**Chiyoda** (Hie Shrine)
**Roppongi** (teamLab Borderless – Tokyo Tower)
**Ginza or Roppongi** for drinks (Andaz Toranomon Hills or The Prince Park Tower seem like awesome options for drinks with view)
*Day 4*
**Meguro River**
**Gotokuji Temple**
Maybe visit some more laid back neighbourhoods, like **Koenji** or **Shimokitazawa**, or do something we skipped some other day if we lack time
*Days 5 – 6 – 7*
Day Trips to **Kamakura – Nikko – Mt Fuji**
