A couple of last minute quick questions:
– We bought Shinkansen tickets in advance, from Tokyo to Kanazawa. I have some doubts about the topic of having two tickets. Once we have the IC card, will it be enough to load the ticket we already purchased online – via eki-net – onto it, or will it be necessary to buy another ticket (here I’ve seen it referred to as *base fare ticket*)?
– Are there significant differences between luggage shipping service and using lockers at the stations? Are both solutions convenient/economical? When we planned the trip we had considered the second option, but almost everyone talks just about the first one, as if it were always preferable.
– Do you know anything about Kamakura Matsuri? We have the opportunity to go to Kamakura on April 16th or April 18th. This festival will be taking place that week, but I haven’t found a list of events. It seems that only on Sunday (the 14th and the 21st) there are compelling events. Do you know if there are any other interesting things on the 16th or 18th, so we can decide when to go?
