Hi. It’s update of a previous post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/17pm5v0/haken\_without\_any\_hope/](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/17pm5v0/haken_without_any_hope/)
I followed the advice to continue learning Japanese while staying with the company. It’s been six months of intensive Japanese learning. I’ve improved quite a bit, thanks to speaking practice at the company, as well as rewriting and translating the entire N2 textbook. During this time, there was not a single interview related to C# and .net. My boss said that because of the long waiting period, there will be problems in visa renewal (visa is expired after three months). ビザ更新もらえ辛いって。A college teacher told my girlfriend the same thing. I wanted to know if the immigration office really looks at my progress in the company? Will the one year waiting period for visa extension be an obstacle? Has anyone received a similar visa denial? I’ve already started looking for another job, but I want to know how much I’m at risk.
