We have unfortunately booked nonrefundable tickets to go to Japan during golden week and want to make the most out of it. Where in your experience is the least crowded during golden week? Tokyo seems like it will be empty but we don’t exactly want to stay in Tokyo for the entire week and go nowhere else. Was wondering if you have any suggestions – some people suggested non-mainstream places like Shikoku, Sendai, and I’d love to hear how you guys feel about that !
