Hey, I’m a brazilian who will be watching the sumo tournament in person in september, but I’m trying to understand how to buy now so I won’t do any mess when the time come.
I’ve tried to ask those questions in the r/sumo but doesn’t get almost any response, then I’ve tried to do the same in r/japantravel but someone decided that my post was low effort and removed it :/
I’ve also tried to get those info’s at japanese sumo sites but I have failed as well.
I manage to almost buy some tickets here as a test (not first, last and second to last days tho), but i saw that i’ll have to get my ticket at a 7 eleven there.
So, my questions:
1. If I buy the tickets here in brazil on 5 of august, can i wait to get my tickets nearly \~10 of september? Are there an expiration date, or can i get them 1 day before the tournament day that i will watch?
2. Can I get my tickets at ANY 7 eleven?
3. Is there any problem with me having tattoos on arms and hands? Should I try to hide then at the tournament?
I know this questions probably going to be a little too specific, but I’m really lost on where to get those informations.
If anyone has any other tips or advices, I’ll be very grateful as well 🙂
