When to start immersion?

Hey everyone! Been a lurker on this sub for awhile, but finally have a question. Right now l’d say I know about 400 words, but very little Kanji. My grasp on grammar is limited but I am familiar with basic structure. I’ve been doing mainly vocab about 30 min a day for the past couple months. Is it ok to start immersion? Also, with watching a show in Japanese I have the motivation to easily put in 2 hours a day. I just get so frustrated with sitting there on an Anki deck and want to do something I enjoy.
My question is should I learn more Japanese vocab, grammar, and kanji before immersion? Or just start now?
