I want to send a couple of packages overseas to family and friends, but for some reason Japan post is not offering SAL or International Parcel Post… They’re only offering Surface mail and airmail, as well as EMS, which are surprisingly costly. To send a 200g package, the website is quoting 3900円… That’s almost the same price as what I’m sending.
I don’t want to send anything too big but I’m wondering what other options there are out there. Ideally, I’d like to use a tracking service to make sure it has been delivered. Are there any other companies that you’d recommend? Or any thoughts on when Japan post might be restarting those services? 🤔
Edit: Sorry, I should have added that it’s to the UK and to the US.
