Hello. I’ve been living in Tokyo for a little more than 3 months now.
I had some trouble opening banking accounts (I think finally I solved that, so soon I might be able to get one) so I’ve been using my Wise card to withdraw money at 7/11 ATMs. I usually withdraw every 40 or so days the maximum amount possible.
But since April 1st (ironically) I’ve been getting this “Temporarily out of service – contact card issuing company” messages. I tried to contact Wise, but they said there isn’t anything wrong with my card or account.
I tried using the card on Amazon to see if the card is ok, and it worked fine.
It’s a Visa plat card. Is anyone else having trouble withdrawing money recently? Wise/Visa cards
