Hi, I’m flying to Japan from France next week for the first time in my life.
We’ll spend 5 days/nights in Kyoto (with possibly a day trip to Osaka), then we’ll rent a car to drive to Koya (1 night in Koya) and Nachikatsuura (3 nights) before going back to Nara (1 night) and take a train to Tokyo for the rest of the trip (4 days/5 nights).
We pretty much already know what we’ll be doing in Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo, but I’m looking for more suggestions for the Koya/Nachi/Kii area. Any off-the-beaten path suggestions of nice things to see/do on the South-East coast between Kumano and Kushimoto? Thanks!
