Okay so. I’ve been to the doc before for small things like colds, flu, then to an OBGYN for birth control so I’m familiar with clinics.
However, I feel like I might have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). I have all the symptoms for it. Even if I don’t have it I’d like to see someone to rule it out. Main issues are the dizziness, presyncope, and fatigue since I’m on my feet a lot at work. I just want to figure out something that will alleviate any of those issues.
But like I’m unsure of where to start. I’m in the hella inaka and there is a hospital nearby, but are referrals a thing? Should I go see a general practitioner and go from there? Try to book straight with a cardiologist? I can speak decent Japanese, though medical lingo isn’t my strong suit. However I do have Japanese friends that would be able to help me out with translation if need be. I go visit my bf in Osaka a lot so seeing a doc out there is also a possibility if I can’t find a good one here.
I just need a place to start from. I asked my Japanese bf but he wasn’t very helpful, so advice is appreciated!
