Hi all, sorry I have to ask here about this. I wrote a email to Shibuya’s startup visa service 4 days ago and there’s no reply whatsoever so far. I also called them and they tell me to wait for the reply to the email.
But anyway here’s my question. I know that in Japan a business manager visa allows for engaging in activities of running a company. I’m wondering whether startup visa can serve a similar function. For example, in the 1-year duration of a startup visa, say I register the company in the 2nd month, am I required to change the visa type to business manager immediately to legally run the company? OR can I run the company on startup visa until it expires? Or there’s some middle ground that I can take my time to change the visa type while running the company on startup visa?
