Hi all,
Did a 8 day Japan trip last year in August/September (oof the weather) with a backpack & carry on, and felt;
1. I didn’t need to pack as much as I needed (Japan hotels offer a **lot** more toiletries than other countries)
2. Hotels also offer more convenient laundry + deodorizing sprays so you can cycle your clothes more often
Going to Japan again this June for 15 days this time, and am researching if I might be able to pack lighter and get it all done with a 40L travel backpack.
Japan also has many more stairs, and vision-impaired friendly roads which make a carry-on a slight inconvenience.
