Just sharing my experience hoping it might be helpful for others who have been trying to connect their JP bank account to their Paypay as top up method.
I recently updated my address on my MyNumber card and of course, Paypay wants me to do Identity Verification again but unfortunately when I did, I put space between my first, second and middle name because it is what’s on my cash card and yucho (I have romaji on MyNumber) so it displayed “different name” error so I did another verification without the space just to try and it finally matches but what I didn’t know is that I need to remove the previously added JP bank account top up method before I can register again my same JP bank account. Maybe I’m the stupid one for not thinking it’s a common sense process or maybe it’s Paypay’s stupid instructions but thank goodness it worked!!
