I’ve done a bit of Googling and am mostly provided with mountains on the yamanashi side, in particular Mitsutogeyama (which I would like to try). I’d like to know if anyone has climbed mountains in Shizuoka prefecture which afforded a good view of Fujisan? Thank you

Not a mountain but the view from the top of Miharashidai is fantastic (panoramic view of Izu, Suruga Bay, and Fuji)

Not sure of any mountains because I haven’t hiked enough but Lake Yamanako, Lake Kawaguchi, and Lake Saiko (they also have an old village with traditional roofing and shops I think as well) have a great view on a good day. I’m sure there’s hiking nearby but those are just the first few that come to mind.
i’ve been to 達磨山
good panoramic view including mt. fuji
you can drive up there and just take a short hike so it’s not really a mountain climbing experience though
