Yet another commuter pass question

Hi,

I’ve read through every English resource I can possibly find, but I still am not getting my head around the commuter pass.

* I live in [Yanagibashi](https://maps.app.goo.gl/PjVUMerdmnavQ9VZA)

* My nearest station is [Asakusabashi Station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/GJgc3ZHuCbUkF1LQ7)

* I commute to [Takadanobaba Station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Db4Xb1Uv3hgKrYy57)

Searching these routes on engines produces a few different routes, but the cheapest and generally best looking route to me is –

[Asakusabashi Station —–JR Chuo/Sobu Line—-> Yoyogi Station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/jRv4YVkpQgJSJogc7); then

[Yoyogi Station —–JR Yamanote Line—-> Takadanobaba Station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/jRv4YVkpQgJSJogc7)

However I frequently meet up with friends around Tokyo station and Shibuya. Could I create a commuter pass that did the following –

[Asakusabashi Station —–JR Chuo/Sobu Line—-> Akihabara Station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/iVv447zBwNmNwUNW8); then

[Akihabara Station —–JR Yamanote Line—-> Takadanobaba Station clockwise via Tokyo Station](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/93/Yamanote_Line_%28April_2020%29.svg/800px-Yamanote_Line_%28April_2020%29.svg.png)

Because I would suspect I’d save money in the long run by having the latter pass, even if it means my commute in the morning were about 15 minutes longer.

Alternatively, if there is a different way someone can figure out that would allow me to go from Asakusabashi to Takadanobaba via Tokyo or Shibuya it’d be appreciated.

Thank you
