My brother and I grew up in a small town. There was only one sushi restaurant we could go to, and only when my parents decided to act civil together. We’d get their house roll and as kids it was the best thing we’d ever have. I never thought to ask for what was in it and I’d love help identifying it now that I’m a little older and my dad passed away (it still reminds me of him). It was deep fried on the outside, had two sauces on top (guessing spicy mayo and eel sauce) and the inside was a solid reddish color, similar to crab salad texture but it wasn’t that. This picture that popped up on tik tok was the closest I could find. Any help I’d be so appreciative for. ❤️
