Hi 👋 I go by Ny, my discord is Nyquilol, my ig is quildai
I’m looking for friends who are at an intermediate level, (anywhere from N4 to N3 ig? but i don’t really care about N levels lol) who wants to work in translation/ localization in japanese! I’m also attending college in tokyo this fall! I would love to talk about different materials and share knowledge if you’re interested, or just be friends! so don’t be afraid to reach out, i don’t bite haha
also, if your native language isn’t english, please also reach out! i want to learn what it’s like to learn japanese from a different language other than english, or is it difficult to learn japanese in english if it’s not your native language. thanks!
Hello, Fumi here, early stage, 6-8 weeks: I recognise the alphabet and can read out syllables/,sounds, recognise basic phrases on tv. But don’t know words yet, so not able to read much. It’s quite a weird sensation actually, this must be how little kids feel! 😎 I decided this year to learn Japanese, a lifelong ambition. Because it’s so different from English, it’s actually been very good for my brain.
I bought the Japanese From Zero workbook a few days ago. I use WaniKani and NativShark apps. Dropped the very buggy useless owl last week. Learning for travel next year. Nice to meet you!
Hey – I failed N4 last year, was way overly ambitious without much studying at all, but this year, I am certain I will pass and will take the N4 again! Ganbarimasu!
If anyone is the N4 level, going on potentially N3, would love to have a study buddy on a similar track!
Male/mid-30s, ideally would like to have a study buddy around my age and gender, but I am open to making friends that are wanting to learn!
What I am using: Genki books, Wanikani for Kanji, speaking practise
