I can’t seem to find anything regarding people married to long term residents. I am married to a long term resident and have received a long term resident visa. I have No children with her, and have been attending college thus far and have not had a job yet, since the post 911 bill pays well enough. I’ve been in japan over 5 years but only 6 months under the long term residency. In the event of a divorce would a divorce result in me losing my long term residency?

Actually you won’t. Unlike those on a spouse of Japanese national/spouse of PR visa need to information immigration within 14 days after divorce. Those on long-term resident visas don’t.
