I’m going to be teaching at Gaba soon. I’ve heard so much about how I won’t be making 250,000 yen per month and won’t be able to pay rent, will need a second job, etc.
However, I know redditors can sometimes be a bit negative and only the unhappy ones are the ones who are commenting. So I want to know – how bad is it really at Gaba? Will I at least be able to survive living in a sharehouse and cooking most of my meals?
