We’re using a tour company for 2 weeks in Japan in mid-May. We have our big hiking backpacks from our last tour, and we want one small suitcase for souvenirs.
The tour ends in Osaka-ish (somewhere near USJ), and we fly out of Tokyo the next evening (6pm) so our thought was just to hop on the Shinkansen out of Osaka in the morning. If we leave at say, 10, that’ll give us a ton of time to get to the airport. Probably too much time but that’s preferred.
But it looks from recent posts that it might be difficult to bring that much luggage on a train? I can’t get SmartEx to work to save my life so buying tickets ahead of time is not happening. Should I try to make the flight work instead? It’s technically cheaper but the scheduling is more difficult. -_-
