Difference in grammar for “to finish doing ~”

Hey,
So will studying I noticed that up to N3 there are at least 3 ways to explain that you finish doing something:
-てしまう
-V + 終わる
-V + 上げる
Now though I don’t really get what the difference between them all are and in what situations and context are each best used.
Does anyone know the answer please?
