I have limited time in Japan. I’ll be coming in from a few days in Seoul, so was thinking it’d be nice to see more of Japanese nature (I’ll be there mid Nov which I hear could have beautiful fall colors) and less city.
Tentative plan so far:
Thurs night – Arrive in Osaka
– check into hotel
– dontobori night market
Friday – Full day in Osaka (plans TBD, maybe spa world?)
Saturday – Kyoto trip
– bamboo forest early, maybe Sagano romantic train (~ 60 min train ride to forest from Osaka)
– philosopher’s path
– fushimi inari at sunset
– train back to Osaka
Sunday – Shizuoka trip
– either day trip (2-3 hour train ride one way) or overnight
– Mt. Fuji viewing from beach
– green tea tours
Monday – either Osaka day or return from Shizuoka
Flight leaves from Osaka at 8:45 pm
I know it’s not enough time in any of these places! Mostly want to know if the time (2-3 hours one way) and cost (I think it’s $90 one way) would be worth visiting Shizuoka?
