I need to store a few boxes of electronic items and appliances for approximately one year. Given the seasonality of Kanto, I’m a little concerned about any potential negative effects this might have on the electrical items.
Unfortunately, all of the temperature regulated storage facilities in my area are full. Therefore the next practical choice is a storage shipping container. These are often bare bones with a simple ventilation hole, no temp regulation, and left out in a lot to withstand the elements. I’m thinking to store the items with desiccants and the more sensitive items in a humidity box.
For anyone with experience, what do you think? Am I overthinking this and the electronics should be fine? Any tips, advice, comments are appreciated. Thanks.
