Hey guys,
Just wondering how you make a note of what you’ve learned so far (if you do this), especially when it comes to kanji?
I currently have a notebook for my Genki notes and a notebook for recording new vocabulary that I’ve learned. I did previously note everything down in one place but it felt confusing and disorganised.
For kanji, I use Wanikani and I did start to write them down as I went along but I quickly gave up because a) it was frustrating not knowing the exact stroke order and I was worried about getting it wrong and b) Wanikani already includes lists of all the kanji you learn at each level so felt a bit pointless. And it’s hard to establish when I’ve fully “learned” given that I do tend to forget them.
Interested to hear how other people do this. Do you record things as you go along? If so, how do you organise it all?

I’ve never thought of doing that besides writing down what kanji stands out more and writing it down
Only the stuff I add to anki gets recorded I guess
For me, Anki sort of keeps a record of what vocab/kanji you have learned. Or fail to learn in the case of leeches.
I write down my study times on paper. It takes me a few months to fill out a sheet of paper.
