Establish career-type job vs 1.5 month placement in Japan

Hi there, so i basically have two upcoming job interviews for amazing internships starting in June, one working with a famous conservation reserve and the other as an insect keeper for endangered species. Obvs haven’t got either job but either would be great as foot-in-the-door for the conservation sector which is crazy competitive.

And I’ve also been offered to do a placement with a Japanese professor, and he said he would reimburse my flights if I helped at two of his research facilities in Japan. I’m looking to do Masters in Japan next year so this would be like a taster basically but doesn’t actually affect whether I can do the degree or not.

Basically, the placement and internship start dates clash so what would u do in my situation: have a flights-paid-for experience in Japan (and I’ve lived there for 1.5 years previously) or kick start my career with these jobs that would help in the long run?
