Planned Itinerary for Japan in Autumn. What would you change?

Hello,

I’m planning a trip mid-late November to see Japan’s autumn season. We’ll fly in via Tokyo then travel south until we reach Kyoto. On our last day, we’ll take the train from Kyoto to Osaka then fly home.

We’re trying to make this a relaxed trip where we can just walk around or rent a bike and enjoy the autumn leaves, check out quaint little shops, enjoy local food, and visit shrines and temples. Any thoughts on the locations I’ve plotted below? Would you switch out one of the cities I’ve listed for something better?

We only have 9-10 days for this trip, so we’ll have to come back to see the rest of Japan.

Thank you!
