A one-man operation in Kobe that serves gyudon with Kobe beef. The only menu items are medium and large, an option for an egg addition, and beer. The large with an egg was about 3000 yen and also came with soup with a lot of vegetables, a piece of dashimaki, and some pickles. There was a small line when I got there and the food took a while to come out but it was worth it. One of the best meals I’ve had in Japan.

I’ve been making gyudon for myself a couple times a week for lunch over the past couple months, and it’s always amazing how much better it looks at the hands of a master. Just the visual appeal from the quality of the meat alone is enough to put mine to shame.
Bookedmarked on tabelog, will be visiting as soon as i come back to japan from quick visit home.
Thanks!! Looks absolutely delish, cant wait
