So I have a problem at work and not entirely sure how to deal with it.
The background is as follows. I have been working pretty long hours to deliver on several major projects (which delivered on time, stakeholders loved it, and without complications). And my boss is calling out my projects as our team’s major accomplishments to the VP – this includes JP, SG and India as our team’s major wins. So .. not a small accomplishment.
All sounds good, yet in the personal reviews I am being scored low to mediocre. This will affect my pay, and obviously looks poorly on my record. I feel like he is doing this to try and emotionally blackmail me into working harder.
I want to resolve this amicably, but, I want to know if this is something I should involve HR in or is there nothing I can do?
