We’ve received a piece of property due to I heritence. Currently living in Canada but frequently travel and stay in Japan for extended periods of time.
The property is out in Kanagawa, and it’s pretty old and being used as a student share rental property. About a 1000square feet my wife and I are looking to renovate.
I know there’s a lot of dependencies, but on average how much does it cost to renovate a property at that size?
The place is OLD, but we want to bring it back to life for personal use. I would assume it would run us anywhere between 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 JPY to really renew a place like this.
Is this a reasonable amount?
