I’ve seen several places mention that people in Japan often bring a small towel with them. Primarily to dry hands after using a public toilet, because they often don’t have paper towels or hand dryer, but also to use to wipe your forehead if it’s hot out. I’ve also heard that you can buy these for cheap at any konbini. Maybe these are dumb questions, but…
1) Is it still true that it’s recommended to carry this with you?
2) Should I just wait to purchase it there? Or is it better to bring something with you?
