This announcement might be of particular interest to any corporation owners. SBI Net Bank is often recommended as one of the easiest banks for a newly formed KK or GK to open. However, until now it lacked the Pay-easy feature, causing inconvenience when it comes to paying for taxes and Shakai Hoken.
From today SBI Net Bank made the announcement that they’ve added the Pay-easy / Mobile Regi feature to their lineup.
As of now, you can only use this for regional taxes, such as corporate residence tax (city and prefectural), corporate enterprise tax, individual residence tax (special collection and retirement income), property tax, city planning tax, car tax (regular and Kei), etc.
If you have any upcoming regional tax payments, they’re currently having a campaign. It seems this campaign is open to both corporations and individuals.
They are planning to add the ability to pay for national taxes and also Shakai Hoken payments from October.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for a net bank with these features already in place, GMO Aozora Net Bank is the place to go. However, after October, it seems that they’ll be equal in that regard.
