Hello I’ll be travelling to Japan this fall with my mom and she has a bunch of allergies, gluten allium’s, eggs and her newest being shiitake.
This is the one most troubling as most thing I believe we’ll able to navigate to some degree but I feel like this mushroom is the base of so many things like sauces and broths…
How should I go about dealing with this when we’re abroad? I’ve thought about printing cards stating her allergies, but are there any sauces that are comprised of this as an ingredient that I should just be aware of ?
