Hey!
First of all sorry for my broken english, it is not my native language
I ve been thinking about moving to Japan, but I really have a lot of questions.
First I want to tell yall that im 17 right now, and this plan ive got its something Im planning to do in the future, but I want to have things straight from now.
1. whats the best way to obtain japanese nationality? and what are the differences between a permanent residency and the nationality?
2. Is it viable to get the citizenship through naturalization? and does it really just take 5 years living there nonstop? (just speaking about time, I know the other requirements)
3. If I work remotely, lets say I work for a company thats in the US, but Im living in Japan (I wanna be a software engineer btw) do I have to pay taxes to Japan or to the US?
4. If I wanna buy a house or a car can I do it while not having the japanese citizenship?
5, (This question goes hand in hand with the previous one.) Another source of income I want to have once I am in Japan, its to buy and rent apartments, can I buy and rent while being a non citizen, and waiting for my citizenchip to be approved?
6. a more specific question, would it be more profitable and better over all to rent apartments in the local market, or to tourists on airbnb
I think thats all I can think of for now, thank you in advance.
