I just noticed that the X division belt is being advertised for next weekend’s TNA PPV in Las Vegas (and has been advertised for a least a few weeks now) they’re just going with Mustafa Ali as the champion, not keeping kayfave or even acknowledging that the title “might” change hands in tonights show (WINDY CITY RIOT).
Other than Kushida and Knight (who might have double contracts with NJPW and TNA) not really sure on what their contract situation is, there isn’t much back and forth between TNA and NJPW in terms of talent sharing. And yes I know Nic Nemeth will be at Windy City Riot but he hasn’t been wearing his IWGP global championship belt (he’s going for the TNA world championship instead)
MLW seems more active in the NJPW relationship, and I guess AEW now announced their forbidden door show for June.
