Basically, all my commutes are done with a Luup bike or scooter. I just hop on, have a general sense of direction for my destination, and take any smaller road I can find.
I’ve gotten to know the cities much better and have taken so many photos of unique things that I would never have seen if I had just stuck to the subway, like the beautiful handprint signage of this jazz club.
Yes, it is more expensive, but it’s also much more fun. Plus, you end up walking much less.
