We’re coming to Japan in July because this was the only time I’ve been able to get off work and I’ve wanted to go to Japan from the USA for many many years.
We are bringing 2 kids (age 3 and 7) and I’m wondering what folks do to help kids, specifically, in the July heat. Especially in places like Tokyo or the theme parks that have a lot of concrete.
Edit: also do people really use umbrellas for heat? Do they help at all? In the US I don’t see this often so I wonder how effective it is.
