I’m facing a unique situation with my visa renewal and am curious if anyone else has encountered something similar.
I applied for an extension of stay on February 13th, with my current visa expiring on April 4th. However, I need to leave Japan temporarily from March 29th and won’t return until May 13th.
My main concern is that the immigration notification postcard will arrive while I’m away. I’m thinking of asking the immigration office to delay sending the postcard until my return in May.
Has anyone had experience with requesting a delay in the notification postcard, or knows anything about handling this situation? I would appreciate any insights!
