Hi all, after seeing a few posts regarding the inconvenience of travel during Golden Week, I’m wondering what the likelihood of me being able to actually getting onto a Shinkansen on the day during the busy week (or even get reserved seating).
For the record, I didn’t book an actual ticket with specified time and date, but rather a Klook voucher which I can redeem at the green ticket office at the station for an actual ticket for the date it specifies. I’ve bought vouchers for both: Hakata -> Hiroshima (early morning) and Hiroshima -> Osaka (evening).
To get reserved seating I would also have to organise it at the station on the day, not ahead of time.
